Fluorescent Fungi is an Inazuma specialty in Genshin Impact found only in certain locations. Not only does it look mesmerizing, but it’s also a material used to ascend certain characters, so it’s important to know how to gather them.
Fluorescent Fungi was first introduced to Genshin Impact in the 2.2 update, which added the Tsurumi Island as an explorable part of Inazuma. Since its initial addition, Fluorescent Fungi has been a valuable resource since a ton of it is required for all stages of Thoma’s level-up Ascension — miHoYo’s newest Pyro polearm character. Here’s a guide for where to find every Fluorescent Fungi in Inazuma.
Farming for Fluorescent Fungus is relatively simple because they pretty much just concentrated around Tsurumi Island in Inazuma. As standard procedures go for items scattered across Teyvat, Fluorescent Fungus tends to sprout up in the wild.
Since they can be found as shining blue mushrooms, it is hard to miss them, especially in dark areas.
Travelers will need 168 Fluorescent Fungus to ascend Thoma to his maximum level.
To speed up the process, feel free to check out any of the spawn location maps floating around online — such as the one from @WorldOfTeyvat on Twitter — or use the Genshin Impact interactive map.
Originally released by miHoYo on April 17, 2021, the Teyvat Interactive Map can be used as a travel companion to make sure you don’t miss any resources.
Travelers can log in with their account to receive real-time personalized map reports that update for any completed actions or tasks a traveler has done, including which resources they have yet to collect and even which temples they haven’t attuned yet.
