Get 12 Sonic PC Games For Under £10 With Humble Bundle

Sonic Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle’s latest offering is a Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary bundle containing 12 Sonic PC games.

There are actually three tiers, and the price will vary depending on what other people pay but, right now, £7.27 will net you twelve Sonic the Hedgehog PC games (though you can pay more if you want). The titles (and DLC) currently on offer are:

  • Team Sonic Racing
  • Sonic Mania
  • Sonic Forces – Digital Bonus Edition
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection
  • Sonic Generations Collection
  • Sonic Lost World
  • Sonic Mania – Encore DLC
    DLC
  • Sonic Adventure 2
  • Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Mode DLC
    DLC
  • Sonic Adventure DX
  • Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1
  • Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 2

If you don’t have £7.27 to spare and still want to get some Sonic action, the lowest tier is a ridiculous 72p. For that, you’ll get Sonic Adventure 2 and its Battle Mode DLC, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episodes 1 and 2, and Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing. It’s worth it for All-Stars Racing alone.

Humble Bundle, in case you aren’t familiar, is a digital storefront that (aside from selling games normally) lets you purchase games at knock-down prices, with the bonus that a chunk of the money goes to charity. The default charity for this bundle is Oceana though you can select a different charity if you want. However, Humble Bundle has been criticised for messing with the sliders that let you choose how your money was allocated; they’ve since mostly rolled back the change but it’s not quite as it was.

So are any of these games worth having? Absolutely. Sonic Mania is a steal and Sonic Generations is pretty great. If you’ve never played them, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 and 2 are also worth experiencing, even if the sense of momentum is slightly off. Team Sonic Racing is also a fun little kart racer. All the games are on Steam so while you’ll get a Steam keys, and you maybe be able to donate the keys you don’t use, there’s no DRM-free option.

Sadly, the one thing we haven’t got this year, the 30th Anniversary of Sega’s famous mascot, is a new, good Sonic game. No Sonic Mania 2, nothing. But if you’ve got a few pounds burning a hole in your pocket, this Sonic bundle should still make you grin. Click here to head to Humble Bundle and buy it.
