Gotham Knights Unleashes Its Heroes at the End of October

Warner Bros. Games has confirmed it will be unleashing the Gotham Knights heroes later this year after they finally announced a release date for October. The title was originally due to be released in 2021 but was delayed to 2022 to give the game more time.

When will Gotham Knights be released?

Gotham Knights Release Date

Gotham Knights will be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on October 25, 2022. The open-world action RPG features Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin as the DC Super Heroes tasked with thwarting the expansive criminal underworld that’s sprung up in Gotham City following the death of Batman. Featuring five distinct boroughs, players can solve mysteries and defeat renowned villains, such as Mr. Freeze, either on their own or with one other player in online co-op as they create their own version of the Dark Knight. Despite the opportunity for online co-op, the game will be a self-contained story unrelated to the Batman: Arkham games rather than a game as a service.

No further details were revealed by Warner Bros. Games or developer WB Games Montreal, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out about pre-order bonuses and special editions. The PlayStation Store will allow players to add the game to their wishlist but doesn’t even display the release date at the time of writing. As soon as we hear anything about these, we’ll be sure to let you know.

In other news, a doctor has been criticized for engaging in console wars on Twitter instead of concentrating on the surgery he was about to perform. The problem was his video included a clear view of his anesthetized and intubated patient in the background. His employer is yet to comment. Elsewhere, players who intend to claim Ghost of Tsushima: Legends through PlayStation Plus this month should be aware that doing so locks them out of using the discounted PS5 upgrade to the Director’s Cut.
