Gran Turismo 7 is getting a free content update tomorrow, November 24. The November 2022 update, Update 1.26 sees the usual batch of three new cars join the racing game, but for this month we’re getting a new track as well.

First, the three new cars are a balance of old and new, like in previous months. The newest of the trio is the BMW M2 Competition. This version from 2018 is a small, nimble coupe (relative to the usual BMW sedans), and this one wears not only the M badge but also has the Competition tag, which is more sporty and lightweight.

Next is a blast from the past, a rally legend in the form of the Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth. The Cossie has a distinct rear wing and made a reputation from its rally roots, but this RS 500 version (limited to 500 units produced in real life) is more geared for road racing.

And lastly is another addition to the Silvia Sisters. It’s another Nissan Silvia (S14) but it’s from the 1996 model year with a more aggressive aero and body design.

Also, the previously revealed Gran Turismo Red Bull X2019 25th Anniversary Edition seems like a separate new car, despite it being technically the existing Red Bull X2019 with a custom livery and a custom windscreen tint.

Gran Turismo 7 November 2022 Update New Cars:

  • BMW M2 Competition ’18
  • Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth ’87
  • Nissan Silvia K’s Aero (S14) ’96

As for the new track, it’s the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. A historic race track in the US state of Georgia, it’s a winding course with many elevation changes. Road Atlanta is another US track to debut in the Gran Turismo series following Watkins Glen, added back in June.

In addition to the update, Gran Turismo is also celebrating the series’ 25th anniversary with various in-game events, as well as a big promo to catch the GT World Series World Finals this weekend.

Gran Turismo 7 is out now on PS4 and PS5.
