Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has received yet another patch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, fixing a large number of bugs, inconsistencies and other issues.
Update 1.03 improves the stability of all three games across all platforms, and also adds a cinematic camera which can be toggled on by cycling through the available camera modes during gameplay. A number of instances where rain would appear indoors during cutscenes have been fixed too, and some instances of misspellings on signs, etc. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. All games in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition also have some specific fixes to make them better overall.
In Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition, for example, players will find that the resolution of the signs on taxi front doors has been increased. An issue where the user interface would overlap the timer when doing taxi or vigilante missions has also been fixed, as well as an issue where the mission title would linger for too long on screen at the beginning of any mission.

When it comes to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, ad banners have been added to the sides of the Rumpo, Coach, Benson and Boxville vehicles. Two crashes have also been fixed: one at the end of the mission Checkpoint Charlie, and one that can be encountered during the Bloodring Arena Event.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition is the game with the most changes and fixes, however. Though it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise given that it’s the biggest game of the three. As well as the introduction of cloud cover at high altitude, players will now find that CJ has alternate walking and running animations when at max fat or max muscle. Multiple crashes have also been fixed.
The changes and fixes above are just a small example of the many, many made in the latest update for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. So, if you want to view the full update 1.03 patch notes, head on over on the Rockstar website.
