Growing your town in Grow: Song of the Evertree is a big part of the game. And growing the town means providing homes for more residents.
Residents will turn up in your town in Grow: Song of the Evertree over time. The more facilities you build in town, the more people will want to visit, and the more people will want to live there. But before someone can move in, you need to have a home for them.
In order to build a house, press ādownā on your d-pad to enter build mode while youāre in town. From there, Press R1 to toggle to āBuildā, then R2 to navigate to āBuildingsā. Select āSmall Houseā from the menu, and choose a location for it. Youāll need 180 myora ā the gameās currency ā to build one.

However: you initially have a limit of being able to build 10 hours. But you also have a goal to have 20 people living in your village. So how do you get more residents in Grow: Song of the Evertree?
By default, each house can only have one person in it. But the small houses can house up to two. So, the question becomes how do you put more than one resident in a house? Youāll need a token called āTwoās Companyā, which youāll gain naturally by playing the game. This token needs to be equipped to a house, unlocking the second resident spot in it.
In order to do this, go back to Build Mode, then select āManageā. Press R2 to navigate to āBuildingsā, then select a Small House from the list. Press the action button (X on PlayStation) to customise the house. From there, press R2 to navigate to the list of Customization options. Scroll down to āTokenā and select, then choose āTwoās Companyā.
Thatās it ā you can now move a second resident into a Small House. Do this for each of your small houses and youāll have room for 20 people in your town.
