Gamers have been hounding Techland for news on Dying Light 2. The zombie parkour action has a lot going for it, and a ton of hype surrounding it. With that, comes a ton of expectations too. Gamers want their zombie action, after all. And with the game finally here after months of delays, there’s some lingering questions. A lot of fans have questions about where they can get the game. The common one I’m seeing is if Dying Light 2 Stay Human on Game Pass will ever be a thing.

It’s a good question. The recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard signals a major push by Microsoft to augment the game service with more big names from the industry. So gamers are right to be curious about what’s coming next. And given how much Day One releases have been a major marketing gimmick for Game Pass, there’s plenty of reason to suspect a port of Dying Light 2 Stay Human on Game Pass.

Is Dying Light 2 Stay Human on Game Pass?

No, Dying Light 2 will not be on Game Pass, and at the moment no plans have been announced to bring it to the subscription service. That could change in the future, we’ll have to wait and see. But like we said, no plans have been confirmed. This could mean that there’s not any planned release ever going to occur.

This may have something to do with the cross-gen approach the developers have taken, aiming to bring the game to as many platforms as they can. This has technical implications that may mean the Game Pass port wasn’t possible. It could also mean that the new game takes its time moving over to the download service. If that latter element is true, Techland and Microsoft could be waiting to gauge initial reaction to the launch before committing to another port.

There are many different versions of the game that are already out there. You can get the basic edition if you just want to play the game. There are also collector’s editions that contain various physical and digital rewards for superfans.
