Juancho Hernangomez Signs 1-Year Deal with Raptors

Power forward Juancho Hernangomez has signed a new deal. The post-free agency window gold rush is about over, and a few players are slowly changing teams. Seven year veteran Hernangomez is moving to the Toronto Raptors on a one-year deal.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

After being selected with the 15th overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft by the Nuggets, Hernangomez remained with the team for four-plus years before being traded to the Timberwolves. He, then, spent time with the Celtics, the Spurs and the Jazz all in 2022 alone. He will now play in Toronto.

Playing with three teams total in 2021-2022, Hernangomez averaged 3.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. His best year came in 2020-2021 with the Wolves, in which he scored 7.2 points per game, while grabbing 3.9 rebounds per game
