Both Kimberly and Juri will be rearranged to fit Street Fighter 6’s modern aesthetic. Juri will have some style changes to her jacket and hair, while Kimberly will have a new outfit reflecting her acrobatic style. Capcom is aiming to preserve the core design of the characters while making these adjustments. As seen in the gameplay trailer, Kimberly uses stylish combos, with speedy fist attacks combined with her ninja techniques.

Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama elaborated on the team’s design philosophy for Kimberly, sharing “In terms of Kimberly’s design, we aimed to create an outfit suitable for her speedy and acrobatic movements since she excels in sports like track-and-field and cheerleading. Pair her brightly colored gi with sneakers suitable for moving around quickly, and you have Bushinryu-like ninja attire, don’t you think? We tried to make her hairstyle and outfit beautifully showcase her striking silhouette since she is an expert at running and airborne attacks. The spray can and portable cassette player on her waist are also used for special moves (via PlayStation).”

Juri, on the other hand, is making a strong return to the series. She will have three special moves that players can chain to deal high damage, these are called Saihasho, Ankensatsu, and Go Ohsatsu. Additionally, her familiar ability to dive kick, Shiku-Sen, will remain the same. The development team describes Juri as a “sadistic thrill seeker.”
