Fatih “gob b” Dayik has tested positive for COVID-19, and will sit out the entirety of the tournament.
Just hours after announcing Karim “Krimbo” Moussa has recovered from COVID-19 and will be playing with the squad, BIG have revealed that coach gob b has returned a positive COVID test himself, and will be unable to join his team throughout their BLAST Premier Spring Final campaign.
Stepping in for the German coach will be Nils “k1to” Gruhne, who will take the reins for BIG‘s entire campaign in Lisbon. The 23-year-old was recently selected to stand-in for the main roster’s final matches at the Pinnacle Cup Championship in Krimbo‘s absence.
This time, k1to will be serving as the main roster’s stand-in coach
The Germans’ woes continue as they face yet another set of matches without their complete starting roster, this time without their veteran coach gob b behind them during their matches. Only time will tell how the lineup will fare throughout their Spring Final campaign, with their first match against ENCE just hours away, starting at 20:00 on Wednesday.
