KFC sponsors Argentinian organisation Leviatán

Argentinian esports organisation Leviatán has announced a partnership with fast food franchise KFC.

The deal covers all rosters fielded by Leviatán. This includes its VALORANT division which is currently competing at VALORANT Champions 2022 Istanbul.

Founded in 2020, Leviatán has experienced rapid growth to become among Argentina’s most prominent organisations. The organisation recently jumped into the global spotlight thanks to its current performances at VALORANT Champions Istanbul, becoming the first team qualified for the competition’s playoffs after beating Team Liquid and Paper Rex.

Leviatán CEO and Founder Fernando Diez, commented: “We are very proud to add a leading global brand such as KFC to our family since together we will be promoting the development of the sector in the region through unparalleled [experiences] for our fans.”

The restaurant chain joins Razer, home appliances store BGH, vacuum robot manufacturer iRobot, tech store Aftech, and entertainment outlet Cultura Geek as Leviatán sponsors.

KFC Marketing Manager Fernanda Pieruzzini highlighted Leviatán’s fast growth over the past two years: “We are very motivated to be part of a sector as exciting as esports by the hand of a club that has grown so much in the region. We are very expectant for the new experiences that we can live together with Leviathan.”
