Kirby Smart Agrees to New 10-Year, $112.5 Million Deal

Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart has agreed to a new 10-year, $112.5 million deal with the school according to ESPN’s Chris Low.

Smart has been coaching at Georgia for six seasons and won his first National Championship last season. In his time at Georgia, Smart has a 66-15 record.

The deal makes him the highest-paid coach in college football at a public university. USC doesn’t have to release Lincoln Riley’s salary as a private school.

Georgia starts defending their title against Georgia in Atlanta on September 3.
