Krimbo to miss remaining Pinnacle Cup Championship matches

The German player is out for the remainder of the tournament after testing positive for Covid-19.

BIG has announced that the team’s youngster, Karim “Krimbo” Moussa, has tested positive for Covid-19 and will miss the final matches of the Pinnacle Cup Championship.

Taking the 19-year-old’s place will be former BIG and current BIG Academy rifler Nils “k1to” Gruhne, who flew in on short notice to start for the main roster.

Krimbo will have to sit out the remainder of the tournament

This will be k1to‘s first matches with BIG since standing in for Josef “faveN” Baumann during the IEM Dallas Closed Qualifier, already after being replaced by Krimbo from the main squad earlier in the year. He will feature in the upper-bracket final against Astralis at 20:00 , after which BIG will move on to the grand final or consolidation final on Saturday.

BIG are also scheduled to fly to Lisbon after the tournament in Lund to compete at the BLAST Premier Spring Final, which starts on Wednesday, June 15, giving the youngster a short recovery time.

BIG will play the remainder of the PCC with:

Germany Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
Germany Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
Germany Florian “syrsoN” Rische
Germany Josef “faveN” Baumann
Germany Nils “k1to” Gruhne (stand-in)

Germany Fatih “gob b” Dayik (coach)
