LCK Strikes Partnership Deal With League Of Legends Stats Firm OP.GG

LCK Strikes Partnership Deal With League Of Legends Stats Firm OP.GG

The LCK is one of the most popular League of Legends (LoL) leagues in the world today and its popularity may well increase after the company signed a deal with the popular LoL stats site OP.GG.

The deal will run for the duration of the 2022 Summer Split, the second tournament of the season and the main artery for qualification into the League of Legend World Championships which will take place later in the year.

The news comes on the same day that the LCK announced that their English language stream of the 2022 LCK Summer Split would be broadcast on YouTube in addition to the streaming service Twitch.

OP.GG Making Waves In South Korea

This is not the first time that OP.GG has been making moves in the South Korean gaming market.

At the end of May this year, OP.GG acquired OGT, one of the largest esports learning platforms in the whole of the Korean peninsula and a wee or so after that, the company also snapped up OGN, the esports broadcast company that was previously known as Ongamenet and had been run previously by TV company CJ ENM.

The move is being seen as an important one not just for the LCK league, but for the many LoL fans located around the world and also for other esports-linked industries too.

Biggest Stats Site

One of the easiest ways to enhance your chances of being more successful when League of Legends betting, is to browse up on the stats of the teams or individuals you are going to bet on.

OP.GG has been providing those stats since 2012 and the site has grown organically since then, developing into one of the most popular esports statistics sites in history, with 55 million visitors to the site each month.

A significant proportion of those users will come from countries like South Korea, and many others will be looking to enhance their LCK betting chances, or indeed any of the other teams and tournaments that the OP.GG site keeps statistical records and analysis of.

However, the stats on offer from OP.GG have more potential than simply for esports bettors to refine their selections.

Key Data For Esports Teams And Players

The data is also incredibly important to teams and individual players, allowing them to analyse where they are strongest and weakest and thus it gives teams crucial information about which aspect of their play requires attention and where they are strongest.

This of course has implications for a strategy a team will adopt in a Lol match.

Furthermore, with OP.GG’s in-game stat tracking service, this can provide hugely beneficial real-time data to team managers and analysts to allow them to make on the spot strategic decisions for how they want their team to play, while the game is in progress.

LCK Summer Split

After one of the most dominant LCK Spring Split performances in history, many people looking at the LCK 2022 Summer Split will be wondering whether T1 can continue their incredible run.

After winning all 18 of their games in the opening series, T1 then completed two more wins in the semi-finals and final to become the Spring Split Champions.

Yet to taste defeat in the tournament in 2022, T1 will likely be amongst the frontrunners in the betting for the League of Legends World Championships which will take place later in the year at an unspecified location and an as yet unknown date.

Certainly, the agreement with OP.GG will allow fans even more access to stats about all their favourite LCK teams for this summer’s big LoL tournament in Korea.
