The First Day

LEC Summer 2022 Week 2 Day 1 Results

  • SK Gaming | 0 – 1 | Astralis
  • Team Vitality | 0 – 1 | EXCEL
  • Rogue | 1 – 0 | Misfits Gaming
  • Team BDS | 1 – 0 | G2 Esports
  • MAD Lions | 1 – 0 | Fnatic

The week started with Astralis’ dominance over SK Gaming. With the new roster, Astralis is looking decent after its third win of the split this week. Secondly, this split’s biggest surprise, EXCEL, took down Team Vitality. Despite having one of the best rosters on paper, Vitality players failed to improve their chemistry. On the other hand, EXCEL is looking like a different team from before.

Just like Vitality, Misfits Gaming is also one of the biggest disappointments of the split. Rogue took them down without facing any difficulties. Surprisingly, Team BDS secured its first win against G2 Esports. G2 was undefeated before the game and BDS sought a single win. Lastly, MAD Lions surpassed Fnatic with a decisive performance. With Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer’s arrival, they look like a contender once again.

The Second Day

LEC Summer 2022 Week 2 Day 2 Results

  • SK Gaming | 0 – 1 | Misfits Gaming
  • MAD Lions | 0 – 1 | EXCEL
  • Rogue | 1 – 0 | Astralis
  • Team BDS | 0 – 1 | Fnatic
  • Team Vitality | 0 – 1 | G2 Esports

SK Gaming had the opening match once again and the result did not change. Misfits Gaming got the win thanks to the MVP, Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié. To complete the week without a defeat, EXCEL secured a miraculous win against MAD Lions. They surely made LEC Summer betting a lot harder. MAD looked very close to the win but a single mistake cost them the win in the end.

After an 0-2 start to the split, Rogue is getting back to their previous form with a 3-0 run in the last two weeks. They got their last win against Astralis on the second day. Despite losing the game, Astralis should be okay with their position on the standings as they are right behind the leaders alongside Rogue, Fnatic, and MAD Lions. Fnatic made up for their awful start to the week by flexing on Team BDS to get their third win of the split. BDS failed to keep the miracle run up and going after the G2 win.

Lastly, G2 Esports finalized the week with a strong win over Team Vitality. Luka “Perkz” Perkovic and his friends need to perform better as they are out of the playoffs race right now.

Next week will feature great competition between these teams and it will be streamed live on the official Lol Esports Twitch and YouTube channels.
