As always, a new patch means a brand-new set of skins, and thanks to the Public Beta Environment (PBE) update, we know at least some of what’s in store.

Monster Tamer Skins 2022

Following up on LoL 12.13 and LoL 12.14’s Star Guardian Skins will be a completely new skin line—Monster Tamer.

Teased at the start of last year, the developers at Riot Games presented fans with future skin lines for the popular MOBA. One of these was the now-known Monster Tamer line.

This new line pays homage and takes elements from the popular video game title and anime, Pokémon, and presumably will bring on multiple additions and iterations in the future.

Headlining the launch of the new line will be Veigar, Kog’Maw, and Lulu.

Kicking it off is Veigar, rocking a dark purple outfit with a skull mask rounding it out. This same skull design is featured throughout some of his abilities, namely the animation of his Q and the impact of his W. Additionally, his Event Horizon stun spawns five towers in a circle.

On the flip side, Kog’Maw and Lulu seem to be working in tandem—Kog’Maw representing a Pokémon and Lulu a trainer. Kog’Maw is a tribute to the Electric-type Pokémon, sporting electricity all around, zapping his enemies as he attacks them. While Lulu is covered in a yellow outfit, containing electric symbols and icons.

It is expected that all three of these skins will hold a 1350 RP price tag.
