Marvel Snap Collector’s Reserve: How do Players Get These Boxes?

Marvel Snap Collector’s Reserve: How do Players Get These Boxes?

Everyone loves a good loot box. You can’t beat that feeling of excitement when the animation finishes and you open something truly great. Marvel Snap uses these loot boxes to give players more access to cards and currency. While opening up some boosters isn’t the most rewarding, opening up a new card is always a great time. Once players reach Collection Level 1000, they gain access to a new type of of loot box called “Collector’s Reserve”. The Marvel Snap Collector’s Reserve boxes can be collected buy increasing your Collection Level.

In order to increase your Collection Level, players simply need to just upgrade their cards. As you upgrade your cards, you gain Collection Level based on the cards new rarity. You Collection Level increases and once and a while you receive a Collector’s Reserve box. It a pretty simple process to get these loot boxes, it just is rough when those Collector’s Reserve boxes don’t contain anything of value for a while. Players can go a long while without opening a new card, and it is what people call a “feels bad moment”.

The Marvel Snap Collector’s Reserve boxes are supposed to be the gateway to gaining the series 4 and series 5 cards. Instead these boxes are mostly filled with boosters for cards you never use. The card-open rate has been something of contention for players, as they prefer to not open a million boxes to find the card they need to finish their favorite deck.

Until something better comes along, the Collector’s Reserve will still be the go-to collectible players will want as they grind Marvel Snap.
