Notre Dame’s head basketball coach Mike Brey will retire following the 2022-2023 season the university released in a statement on Thursday.
Brey is the all-time winningest coach in Notre Dame basketball history with a record of 481-269. He has been at the helm since 2000 and has made 13 NCAA Tournaments.
Before his time at Notre Dame, Brey posted a record of 99-52 at Delaware to bring his career record to 580-321.
This season, the Fighting Irish are 9-10 overall and 1-7 record in ACC play.
