MU Origin 2 7.1.0 Update Tweaks the Territory System, Adds Boss Monsters, and More

MU Origin 2 has just received a quietly momentous update that completely overhauls the game’s Territory system. Version 7.1.0 tweaks territorial boundaries, adds NPCs, introduces Boss Levels, and much more.

In case you’re not familiar with Webzen’s hugely popular MMORPG, MU Origin 2 is the second spin-off of classic PC MMO MU Online.

Boasting a lore that goes all the way back to 2001, MU Origin 2 features a huge array of quests, dungeons, pets, modes, and so on, plus six distinct classes: Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Magic Gladiator, Growlancer, Holy Mage, and Elf.

After choosing one of these classes you’ll venture out into a vibrant fantasy continent where you’ll form parties, join a guild, ride your mount, take on other players in arena battles, and do a ton of other cool stuff besides.

And now, 7.1.0, the whole territory system is better balanced and more rewarding. For a start, Guild Territory has been renewed, with more Territory Rewards on offer, and new NPCs have been added. The map structure has changed, too.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks to the latest update, you can now upgrade Guild Territory using the Guild Fund – though only the Guild Master can carry out the procedure.

Plus, it’s now possible to acquire items by enhancing Territory Treasure Storage. These include enhancement items for equipment, Anima, Pet Eggs, materials for your mount, and materials for Jewel, Wings, and Holy Shield.

The newly updated Guild Territory Boss feature, meanwhile, sees a Boss Monster appearing near the Boss Caretaker when your Guild Territory reaches level 2. There are several different Boss Levels, and they can all be enhanced with Guild Territory Update.

As long as the requisite number of daily donations has been reached by 20:00, the Boss Monster will appear for one hour. If you manage to take it down, great. If not, it vanishes at the stroke of 21:00.

There’s also Accessory Resurrection – which becomes available once your accessories reach Lvl 400. These resurrected accessories can also be enhanced.

Next is the addition of Core Awakening, which becomes an option once your character reaches Master II Lvl 31 (Lvl530). There’s Core Awakening Enhancement too, naturally – with seven Magic Crystals available to level up.

There’s much more too of course including the addition of the Mythic Jewel and Archangel Transfer Stone – so to check it all out download MU Origin 2 for free on the Google Play Store or the App Store now.
