Mushi to coach new BOOM Esports roster

BOOM Esports will enter the next Dota Pro Circuit with almost a full new roster, and while the final puzzle piece is yet to be revealed, the organization has acquired Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung to take the coaching role.

Mushi comes to BOOM Esports after several months spent in the same position at TNC Predator. He joined TNC at the end of the 2021 DPC regional leagues in hopes of a glorious final push for TI10 through regional qualifiers. Unfortunately, the regional qualifiers for the pinnacle event of the year had just one ticket up for grabs, and despite tremendous efforts from TNC in the SEA grand finals, where they pushed it all to a game five against Fnatic, the latter won the battle and headed to Bucharest, Romania to fight for a share of the $40,018,195 prize pool.

In the TI10 qualifiers aftermath, TNC released the entire squad, and similarly, BOOM Esports was one of the first organizations from Southeast Asia to make drastic changes.

Formerly featuring only players from Indonesia, BOOM went on recruiting some of the finest talent in the region to assemble a team with players coming from both TNC Predator and OB.Neon. While the carry position is still vacant, the new BOOM Esports line-up boasts now Timothy John “Tims” Randrup, coming from TNC and Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong, along with Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer coming from OB.Neon. Saieful “Fbz” Ilham is currently the only member of the old roster remaining on the team.
