MWI 2023: Bigetron Era is an unstoppable force

Defending champions of the MWI, Bigetron Era, begun their defence of their title with an unbeaten Group Stage run.

Today we saw the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Womenā€™s Invitational 2023 kick off, with Group A showing off their talents as they tried to avoid being knocked out before the playoff stage. Each group features five teams, all of who would play through each other member of their specific group ā€“ with the last team in each being eliminated prior to playoffs. For Group A, there were a few big names, such as the impressive Philippines roster of Smart Omega Empress and the defending champions from MWI 2022, Bigetron Era.

Looking to continue an absolutely massive winstreak which has spanned multiple tournaments, even before their MWI 2022 victory, Bigetron Era remained unstoppable today. With Michelle ā€œChellā€ Denise Siswanto dominating the map from the Gold Lane, and the rest of the team following suit for the rest of the map, Bigetron Era blasted through each of their four opponents without any issues ā€“ ending their Group Stage run unbeaten at 4-0.

With their flawless performance, the defending champions move into the playoff stage, alongside Omega Empress, Zeros Esports Gaming Iris, and Impunity Starlets. Unfortunately for Burmese Ghouls-Reinas, they were unable to find their footing, dropping all four games and thus being eliminated.

Tomorrow we will see Group B take place, with GPX Basreng hoping to follow in the footsteps of Bigetron Era, while the likes of Grayback Odysesey and Team HAQ Ladies look to become new challengers to the title.
