Last week we told you about the new shapeshifter role that was coming to Among Us in its latest update. Well, that update has now landed, and the shapeshifter has been joined by three other roles, as well as some new cosmetics and systems.
Alongside the shapeshifter, the new roles are the scientist, the engineer and the guardian angel. They can only be played by crew members, and they add a variety of different twists to the who-dunnit gameplay.
The scientist has access to vitals whenever they want, and can complete battery-charging tasks. The engineer can enter the vents and the guardian angel can use a shield to protect remaining crew members. Here’s a trailer that shows them all in action.
Alongside the new roles, which can be tweaked with before you start playing, there are also a whole bunch of new cosmetics to buy and find. And there are Cosmicubes, that let you unlock more goodies while you play.
