New Android Games: Best New Android Games This Week

If you’re on the prowl for new Android games then we’re here to help. This handy list will break down the best new Android games that you should absolutely have on your phone.

Whether it’s the best free-to-play mobile game release this week or an exciting new premium game, we’ve collated a number of intriguing new games for your library.

Hook 2

Ingenious mobile developer Maciej Targoni is back with another brilliant puzzle game: Hook 2. A sequel to 2015’s Hook, Targoni’s latest will send you into a relaxing, intelligent trance.

In Hook 2, you have to unhook all of the hooks from the board until nothing is left. The tranquil, minimalist puzzler works perfectly on mobile devices, and headphone users will find themselves subtly sucked into the game’s soft, melodic soundtrack.

Hook 2 is a premium game without any ads muddying the experience. However, it’s far from expensive. On Android, Targoni’s newest masterpiece is just £1.99.

Jurassic World Primal Ops

A tie-in game for the recent Jurassic World: Dominion movie, Primal Ops is a mobile-only top-down shooter. Developed by Dead by Daylight studio Behaviour Interactive, this free dinosaur game is a surprising new addition to mobile libraries.

Instead of hunting dinosaurs, you’re tasked with saving the majestic beasts from extinction (again). You’ll have to infiltrate enemy camps, free dinosaurs and battle against three villainous factions. Do you think any of them have eaten some dinosaur?

The best part of Jurassic World Primal Ops is the fact that dinosaurs are on your side. After rescuing a scaly (or feathery) friend, it’ll be able to help you in the midst of battle. Is there anything cooler than a T-Rex on your side? No, there’s not.

Incoherence

Developed by Glitch Games, Incoherence is yet another fantastic puzzle game on mobile. If you’re looking for new Android games, and you don’t mind spending a bit of money, Incoherence is an absolute treat.

A first-person point-and-click, Incoherence is a hilarious adventure game that will also leave you scratching your head. Playing as Jason Beltman, you’ll have to photograph evidence while solving puzzles to figure out a deep mystery.

Glitch Games has promised that Incoherence will be part of a new series called The Glitch Broken Dreams Collection. That’s right, there’s even more games to come!

Train’s Run

Indie developer Youichi Akiyama’s debut mobile game Train’s Run is an absolute delight. While rough around the edges, this quirky train racing game will quickly capture your heart.

Designed as a multiplayer experience for three people, Train’s Run is a quirky, exaggerated racer. Adorable anime cel-shaded visuals and catchy tunes help to create an exciting mobile exclusive.

As a free-to-play game, Train’s Run does have in-app purchases as well as ads. However, all microtransactions are cosmetic only. Do you want to put an astronaut helmet on your train’s chimney? Well, now you can!
