New month, another two batches of new games enter Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. If you’re expecting big AAA titles for the early half of September 2022, it will be a bit of a disappointment. But if you have weird niches you like or like exploring like trains, heavy metal, Disney and logic puzzles, there are exciting titles to try out on the monthly games subscription service.

Two of the additions are car games, and we already know about them. Grid Legends is now on Game Pass by way of EA Play, for a hyperrealistic take on motorsport racing.

And You Suck At Parking is a physics-driven driving game about parking cars in wacky situations, playable solo and with friends.

If you’re a Disney fan, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-sim and adventure game where you can live in a magical world with your favourite Disney and Pixar characters.

As for the day-one indie games, we get Despot’s Game, a roguelike tactics army battler, and Metal: Hellsinger, an FPS with the aesthetic of a heavy metal album- and a soundtrack featuring appropriately enough, metal music.

The love for Zachtronics logic puzzler continues with the addition of Opus Magnum. This take on a programming challenge is more alchemical and fantastical, as you are tasked to create machines that create remedies, gemstones, and even weapons.
