Star Ocean The Divine Force sees Raymond crash-landing into an unfamiliar and underdeveloped planet during a mercenary job gone wrong, and encountering Laeticia. Playing from Raymond’s perspective will see the story with more sci-fi themes, whilst playing as Laeticia will shift the story into a a more traditional, high fantasy arc.

You’ll be recruiting various characters as party members for your party of four. Combat takes place in real-time (with pause) and in the open fields that you can explore. During combat, you can also switch to control other characters in your party. And each character has customisable combos where you slot in different skills that trigger after specific button presses.

Star Ocean The Divine Force will be released on October 27 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and for PC (Steam) on October 28 in Asia.
