Next Unannounced From Software Game In Final Stages Of Development

Jack-of-all-game-genres and now master-of-the-soulslikes developer From Software has released Elden Ring this year. So what’s the next game from From and when can we expect it to be out?

In an interview with 4Gamer.net (in Japanese, translated by Gematsu), From Software president and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki has provided an update on this. The interview referenced a prior interview in 2018, in which Miyazaki revealed to 4Gamer that two unannounced games are being worked as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was close to release in early 2019.

One of those was Elden Ring.

When asked about the status of the other unannounced game, Miyazaki responded: “Yes, development is currently in the final stages.”

Screenshots of what seems to be the next Armored Core game surfaced earlier this year. So this could be the next unannounced game From Soft is working on. Before becoming well-known for making Demon’s Souls, the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, the studio was mainly associated with the mecha action game series Armored Core.

In addition, the interview also revealed that Miyazaki would be directing another game, though it’s still in the early stages.
