NFL Picks Week 2: Bears at Packers Headline Action

The 2022 NFL season is underway and there was plenty of sloppy play in the opening week. There is a full schedule of games as teams look to get on track. The Bears at Packers highlights play this week.

Chicago Bears versus Green Bay Packers

In this classic NFC North battle, the Bears head to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. The Bears are coming off a win, while the Packers struggled in their loss to the Vikings. Green Bay enters as  9.5-point home favorite with odds of 1.210 to 4.260 and an over/under of 41.5. The Score Predictor likes Chicago by a 35-30 score with 67 percent confidence. The Buccaneers are a 2.5-point road favorite with odds of 1.670 to 2.136 and an over/under of 44.5 The Score Predictor likes Tampa Bay by a score of 24-23 with 69 percent confidence. New Orleans is “burning hot” versus “ice cold up” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +16 to +11 on the Power Ranking Indicator. Note that the Buccaneers were involved in a game “under” the line in their opener, while the Saints were in a game “over” the line. I like Tampa Bay on the road to win and cover, but pass on the “over/under” bet.

Seattle Seahawks versus San Francisco 49ers

In this NFC West clash, the 49ers host the Seahawks. Seattle is 1-0 and the 49ers are 0-1, so the game is important for San Francisco in order to avoid going down two in the division. Seattle is “average” versus “average down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and the 49ers are +21 to +5 on the Power Ranking Indicator. The 49ers are 8.5-point home favorites with odds of 1.23 to 4.04 and an over/under of 41.5. The Score Predictor has the 49ers by a score of 33-25 with 58 percent confidence. Houston Texans versus Denver Broncos

Houston is “average” versus “ice cold down” on the Team Strength Oscillator and +29 to +16 on the Power Ranking Indicator. Mile High Stadium is always a difficult place to play for the road team. I like Houston to cover but Denver will win, but I will pass on the “over/under”.
