Nintendo announces Black Friday 2021 deals

Black Friday 2021 is almost here, and Nintendo is providing an early heads up on some of the deals fans can expect to see during the holiday shopping season. Much of what’s in store begins on November 21.

For those that have yet to pick up a Switch, a bundle is planned containing the system, the digital version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month individual membership to Nintendo Switch Online. The whole thing will set you back $299.99.

In terms of games, a variety of first-party Nintendo titles will drop from $59.99 to $39.99 for Black Friday 2021. The lineup includes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Maker 2, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Kirby Star Allies, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Astral Chain, and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Additionally, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be reduced from $99.99 to $59.99 while Ring Fit Adventure will be on sale for $54.99 instead of $79.99.

Nintendo typically hosts a sale on the Switch eShop for Black Friday, and this year will be no different. Further information will be shared at a later date. We’ll let you know when the eShop goes live and which games are included.
