NZ-41, UGM-8, H4 Blixen, Marco 5 Nerfed in June 30 Warzone Update

Raven Software has released its latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone in Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune, nerfing a handful of the most popular weapons in the game, as well as giving a slight buff to a trio of sniper rifles.

Just when you thought the weapon meta was settling down, this latest patch might’ve just drastically changed things in Caldera, Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island once again. Here’s a breakdown of the June 30 patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.

Bug Fixes

First and foremost, what stands out is that the NZ-41 and UGM-8 have been hit pretty hard with nerfs, perhaps opening up the path for the KG M40, Cooper Carbine, BAR and Vargo 52 to rise up in long-range popularity.

Secondly, the H4 Blixen and Marco 5 were tuned down as well, perhaps bringing them more in line with the Type 100, Armaguerra, Welgun and Sten in the SMG meta.

Lastly, aside from the meta Lengthened, MX Silencer and M1941 Handstop Vanguard attachments getting nerfed, it is interesting to see that three Vanguard snipers received another slight buff.
