Orlando Bloom is now an unlockable character in King of Avalon

Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom is now available in your pocket. Uh, well, in video game form, of course. Partnering with King of Avalon, the beloved actor is now a playable character within Funplus’ strategy game.

How to get Orlando Bloom in King of Avalon

Revealed in a new trailer by Funplus, Orlando Bloom is now a major part of the free-to-play mobile game. From Hollywood to the App Store, Bloom can be played as within King of Avalon, if you can get him.

In order to get Orlando Bloom in King of Avalon, all you have to do is download the game. As part of a promotional period, Bloom is being given out to all new players. However, it also appears that the character is available to returning players as well.

In a press release, Bloom revealed that he is happy to have his likeness in a video game. The Hollywood actor explained: “Lending my likeness to a mobile game is new and it was a fun experience. I hope all the ‘King of Avalon’ players win many battles with Orlando the Nightshard!”

Of course, Bloom has led his likeness to multiple video games in the past. In fact, for the video game The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the actor even lent his voice. All other games used archived lines from movies.

He’s also in a trailer

Orlando Bloom’s involvement with King of Avalon isn’t just his state as a playable character. Instead, the actor is party of a huge marketing campaign for the casual free-to-play game.

If you’re a sucker for anything Bloom, King of Avalon has created a new trailer involving the actor. Unsurprisingly, it’s not as good as Lord of the Rings, or Pirates of the Caribbean, or anything Bloom has acted in. That’s right, even The Hobbit.

Nevertheless, it is sometimes adorable to watch once high-end actors starring in rather cringy game trailers. Not so much a fall from grace, but there’s definitely less care for projects taken. Watch it below!
