Parents Run Strategy Guide – Raise Perfect Kids With These Hints, Tips and Cheats

Parents Run is a game that sees you tossing a child to-and-fro between two parents. You’re collecting cash, upgrading your kid with activities and trying to give them the best chance to succeed in life. Get it wrong and they’ll end up homeless when they grow up. 

With that sort of pressure, things can get challenging, which is why we thought it was a good idea to write this guide. If you follow the strategies outlined here you’re going to ensure your kid gets a decent job – and you get plenty of cash to spend on upgrades and new furniture. 

It doesn’t matter if you’re about to toss your child for the first time or you’ve already seen them take on several jobs – there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are, after all, the best hints, tips and cheats for Parents Run.  

Red is bad

Anything that has red around it in the game – whether it’s a gate or an obstacle on the course – is going to do you some harm if you hit it. Instead aim for the blue gates and the green objects or people. Sometimes that might not be possible, but if you can, always avoid red. 

Do the math

Sometimes you’ll be confronted with two gates that are going to add levels to your baby. You’ll want to do a quick equation to figure out which one is going to give the best reward. Conversely, if you come up against two negative gates, figure out which one will do the least harm. 

Add to your house

When you get to the end of the level you can spend the cash you’ve collected on upgrading your house. It’s worth spending some cash on this, adding new rooms and upgrading your furniture when you get the chance. But you shouldn’t always spend your cash in this way. 

But upgrade too

Sometimes you should spend your cash on upgrading your own stats. There are two – one that increases your starting level and one that opens up new jobs. Try and upgrade them both equally. A high starting level gives you a better chance of a good score, a higher job lets you earn more in the end game. 

Increase your cash?

The game regularly gives you chances to increase your cash haul by watching videos. You can get a decent return, but in the end it’s not really worth the effort. If you want to keep playing, just continue and the grind and earn cash that way.
