Pearl Abyss has announced that the developer will now handle publishing duties for their MMORPG Black Desert for the whole world, as they have now taken over the operations for South America today.

Black Desert is developed by Pearl Abyss, but publishing duties in regions outside of South Korea and Southeast Asia have been handled by other companies in the past. But that has now changed as the publishing work is now all done in-house.

The game was first released in 2014, and has since garnered over 45 million players on PC and consoles, as well as on mobile via the separate Black Desert Mobile game.

Celebrating the occasion, players logging in to Black Desert, including Black Desert SEA, will be getting a new login event until July 20. The rewards include Tier 3 Shudad’s Courier Pet, a Classic Outfit Box, and a Premium Outfit Box. There are also Hot-Time Events, that’s increased EXP and Item Drop Rates. The full details can be found here.

Plus, for those wanting to spend on premium packages, those are currently on discount as well, available direct through Black Desert’s main site as well as on Steam.
