Peppzor leaves fnatic

fnatic has announced that fnatic Rising player Peppe “Peppzor” Borak is leaving the organization to look for a new team after a year and eight months, during which he mainly played in the academy roster but was called up to the main team when necessary.

The last time Peppzor stood in for fnatic‘s main roster was at Elisa Masters Espoo in November, where he showed great potential and eagerness to take the next step in his career. “I feel like I’m ready,” Peppzor said, “going from an academy team to another team would feel great for me.”

Peppzor: “Going from an academy team to another team would feel great”

Peppzor recently won Elisa Masters Espoo with fnatic

Peppzor played with the first team on two occasions during his time in fnatic. The first was in 2021, when he competed at ESL Pro League Season 15 and a handful of other events. The 20-year-old rifler was unable to find impact and after fnatic‘s failure to qualify through the PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR A, he returned to the academy team.

Peppzor had more individual success during his time in the B team. He notably put up a 1.20 rating in WePlay Academy League Season 5 and fnatic Rising became the first team other than MOUZ NXT to win the development league.

The success that he found in fnatic Rising led to once again having the opportunity to play with the main squad at Elisa Masters Espoo. This time around he was more impactful, boasting a 1.16 rating at the event, and he even came alive on the second map of the final to give fnatic the victory over BIG.

Before departing the organiation Peppzor will play out the remaining ESL Challenger League games this season with fnatic Rising, while news about the squad is expected to be announced soon.

fnatic Rising are now:

United Kingdom Sebastian “volt” Malos
Denmark Mikkel “Maze” Sparvath
Finland Matias “Banjo” Kivistö
United States Adam “WolfY” Andersson
