We’re over to the nation’s west later on Saturday night, when the Perth Glory and Adelaide United reignite their rivalry.
All eyes will be one Perth’s marquee signing and arguably the biggest in the history of the A-League; former Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City man, Daniel Sturridge.
Sturridge lines up for the Glory following something of a stint in the wilderness, but his class and ability has always been apparent, and he is more than capable of single-handedly delivering his new side some success in 2021/22.
Adelaide are a model of consistency, and they won passage into another finals series last season.
