Pirates vs Reds Betting Outlook
Third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes’ error cost the Pirates in Game 1 of Wednesday’s doubleheader as it allowed two runs to score.
However, the Pirates scored twice in the seventh inning in the second game to pull ahead 3-2 then pulled away. Brian Reynolds doubled in the seventh. After the tying run scored on a wild pitch, Daniel Vogelbach hit a sacrifice fly to plate Reynolds with the go-ahead run.
Vogelbach added a two-run home run in the ninth inning after Ben Gamel stroked an RBI single for his fifth hit of the twinbill.
