PMGC 2022 Schedule Revealed: Details Inside

PUBG Mobile Esports is about to host its mid-season invitational LAN tournament in Riyadh as top teams from around the globe are currently travelling to compete for a grand prize pool of $3 million. While announcing the format of this event, the esports team shed a light on the pinnacle event in PUBGM Esports called PUBG Mobile Global Championship.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship is the largest PUBG Mobile event in its competitive ecosystem with millions of dollars and respect at stake.

Teams compete in a structured regional format to ultimately qualify for this event and for 2022 season, the amount of participation is exponentially larger.

The PUBG Mobile Esports director made a short announcement about the format of PMWI 2022 and hyped PMGC 2022 in the process.

In this short video posted on all social media handles of PUBG Mobile esports, it was revealed that the number of teams competing at PMGC 2022 will be more than 50 this time.

Any PUBG Mobile tournament had a limit of 32 maximum teams competing at an event at the league stage itself but this limit is crossed right now. According to this video, a total of 48 teams from regional “Pro League” will qualify at PMGC 2022 – League.

Top 13 teams from this league will advance towards the grand finals where an additional three invited teams will join them to compete for a massive prize pool.

PMGC 2022 will also be hosted in a LAN format in Indonesia in January 2023 and the league stage of this event will run for a total of four weeks. It is unclear whether the league stage will be held in LAN format or not.
