Poco reveals a phone with triggers like a game controller

Poco announced today its latest flagship phone, the Poco F4 GT. The Xiaomi subsidiary is known for making phones designed for playing games, and that’s definitely the case with the F4 GT. Alongside a host of other features, the standout is definitely the new pop-up magnetic triggers on the side of the phone, designed to replicate a controller.

The Poco F4 GT has a new haptic engine, the top-of-the-range Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, and 120W charging. This comes with features from some of their previous phones, like the 6.67 inch 120Hz AMOLED display and 64mp main camera, alongside macro and ultrawide lenses. These are all welcome additions, alongside the quad-speaker set-up, that look to make this a real high-end competitor among other gaming phones.

Poco also continues its trend of making very good value phones, with this phone already available for as low as $600/£500. Only time will tell if the Poco F4 GT can live up to all these headline features, but if our Poco X4 Pro 5G review is anything to go by, that should be the case.
