The Pokemon GO Lunar New Year event begins today, giving players the chance to collect rare Pokemon, participate in special Field Research, and even collect new Shiny Pokemon.

From Feb. 2 to Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. local time, Pokemon GO players can now have an increased chance of obtaining Lucky Pokémon from trades, a higher chance of becoming Lucky Friends with another player, be able to earn double the usual amount of Stardust they usually get from opening gifts and be able to make one additional special trade per day.

The following Pokémon will be able to be hatched from Eggs obtained during the Lunar New Year 2022 event.

Eggs obtained during the Lunar New Year will always be 7km.
