London Royal Ravens vs Seattle Surge
Prediction: Seattle Surge The Seattle Surge fell into a good matchup here versus London
Besides at Major 1, the London Royal Ravens have yet to show up at a Major event since. They placed T-8 at Major 2, again at Major 3, and a horrendous 9-12 place finish at the latest Major 4 tournament. With the way London has been playing on LAN and the fact Seattle plays better after having a bad showing at the previous event.
Look for Seattle to win this and even a run going into the weekend.
LA Thieves vs Boston Breach
Prediction: LA Thieves
After starting strong at the beginning of the year, the Boston Breach failed to reach that same level. On the other side, the LA Thieves are recently coming off their Major 4 victory and are looking to repeat.
However, as we have seen throughout the year, trying to win back-to-back championships is hard. Additionally, previous winners tend to do poorly the next time. But the form LAT has been in lately, and the fact it’s on LAN should give confidence to Thieves fans.
But with it being one match, Boston has a great chance to upset the reigning Champs.

OpTic Texas vs Toronto Ultra
Prediction: OpTic Texas
Almost every time OpTic and Toronto matchup, it’s a tough matchup for both teams, don’t be surprised if this match goes five games.
But with how Toronto has been playing recently and OpTic being as talented as they are, it will be hard for the Ultra to stop them. In respawns, OpTic can basically bully and blow any team out in both Hardpoint and Control. Toronto will need to steal one of the respawns, most likely a Hardpoint, and rely on their SND to keep them from going to the losers bracket.

Atlanta FaZe vs New York Subliners
Prediction: Atlanta FaZe
This is a matchup of the two most electric teams in the league.
As much as I want to pick the Subliners to win, the Atlanta FaZe are just the stronger team. Led by MVP favorite Cellium, FaZe has been the most dominant team throughout the entire season, even without winning a championship.
As for New York, it’s a miracle they made the tournament in the first place. The Subliners have had Atlanta’s number in the previous Major 4, beating them twice to make the Grand Finals. So they have experience not only taking down the talented FaZe roster but also clutching up and winning events. Whichever team wins this match has a good match setup for a Grand Finals run.
