Upgrade your machines

Your first task when you start a level should be upgrading your machines. Some of them you’ll need to unlock, but the more people you have working on each of them, the more resources you’re going to produce. It’s important to do this, because you can sell surplus resources for extra cash. 

Check what you’re building with

Sometimes you need to build multiple machines before you can actually start constructing the building that’s your end goal. There are also times when you’ll need to add different materials at different points of a build. Always check what you need and change your tack accordingly. 

Sell, sell, sell

You should set up a system whereby you’re always selling your surplus. Move in a circle so you can pick up what you need to build, drop it off, pick up some surplus and then sell it. Rinse and repeat and you’ll always have enough cash to spend on upgrading the things you need to succeed. 

Take the first offer

When it comes time to sell the building, your best bet is usually to take the first offer. It might seem counterintuitive, but the offers usually go down and when you get to the last one you’ll need to watch a video to get the max value. Take the first offer and more often than not you’re going to get the most cash with the least faff. 

Upgrade yourself 

You should make sure you’re upgrading your builder as well. This will make you faster and also enable you to carry more resources. You can upgrade yourself by tapping on the first tab on the menu along the bottom of the screen. If you’re selling whatever you don’t need, you’ll have enough money to do it as well.
