PSA: Exoprimal Closed Network Test Open For Registration

Capcom’s upcoming new IP, the online team-based PVPVE game Exoprimal will have a closed network test and still looking for sign-ups.

The first test was conducted for players in US and Canada, the second and third session is open to every region, so long as you can play on PC via Steam.

Registration is still open, though should you get the call up you’ll be joining the third closed network test session on August 7.

And since this is a closed network test, expect bugs where the game can freeze or even close while in gameplay. It’s a work-in-progress build, and you are expected to provide feedback to Capcom in order for them to further refine the game ahead of launch next year.

You can register your interest in the Exoprimal Closed Network Test here.

Exoprimal is set in the near future where dinosaurs randomly spawn and attack humanity. You pilot these exoskeletons, all with different abilities and weapons, and work as a team to complete objectives as you compete with another team of players. But sometimes, there will be objectives forcing both teams to work together.

It’s a weird yet interesting take for an online multiplayer title. It’s not quite a looter shooter, not quite Destiny 2 Gambit, and certainly not Dino Crisis. Whether it’s something that will take off in interest remains to be seen.

Exoprimal is scheduled to launch in 2023 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
