PSG’s Brand Director, Fabien Allègre commented about the partnership: “Paris Saint-Germain Esports is delighted to welcome EPOS in the PSG Esports family.

“Esports is an innovative field in which technology can make the difference. Together with EPOS, we share the same goal to lead innovation for everyone, pro and non-pro esports players, to reach the best performances and game conditions.”

Before being backed by PSG, LGD had already established itself as a household name in DOTA 2. The French team joined forces with the Chinese organisation on April 19th 2018. PSG.LGD has qualified for The International, the principal global event for the esport title, every year since 2018 and has reached the finals in 2018 and 2021.

The Shanghai-based team will make use of the H6PRO Closed Acoustic Gaming Headset which, according to EPOS, ‘delivers ultimate performance across the full audio spectrum’ and ‘will provide that extra competitive edge to PSG.LGD’s game’.

“Together we have an exciting journey ahead of us, and EPOS strongly believe that our best-in-class audio products can support the players in their push to finally take home the aegis and achieve the title as the best team in the world at The International in 2022.”

Esports Insider says: EPOS continues to grow its brand exposure. With the PSG.LGD partnership, EPOS will be able to expand its name in the Asian market, one of the biggest markets in the world.
