Red Canids vs Loud: CBLOL 2022 Picks and Predictions

Red Canids vs Loud: CBLOL 2022 Picks and Predictions

RED Canids take on Loud as the CBLOL Split 2 heads into its eighth and penultimate week before the playoffs. RED has always been a strong contender at CBLOL, and past results show that they can never be written off, and certainly not this year. LOUD, who are still relatively new to the league, have shown spunk and character to get as far as they have this tournament. League of Legends betting predictions suggest that RED is the easy pick in this encounter.

RED Canids

Defending champions RED have 10 wins from their 14 games so far, standing third on the rankings with a win percentage of 71. They are determined, they’re confident and they’re quite likely to complete a hattrick of CBLOL titles. If they win the championship this year, it’ll be their fourth trophy. RED made a perfect start to their title win by winning both games in their opening week.

Their first match of the season was a re-match of the split 1 final, and Pain Gaming had to relive the disappointment as RED marched past them once again. RED blew past Rensga Esports to top off a perfect first week. Weeks three to five showcased RED in their prime as they steamrollered their way to a five-match unbeaten streak, blasting past Flamengo Los Grandes, LOUD, KaBuM! e-Sports, Liberty and INTZ. Pain Gaming finally put an end to that delightful run.

The only thorn in their flesh is Furia Esports, whom RED still haven’t managed to defeat even once this season. Without warning, the dark horses Furia have risen out of nowhere – they burst onto the scene this split and overtaken the tournament’s top teams. The only thing standing between RED and their third consecutive CBLOL title is them.

RED have secured two wins and two losses across the last two weeks, easily beating Rensga and Flamengo but going down to Furia and Miners. The results of the past fortnight seem patchy compared to their dream streak earlier, but RED aren’t the sort to lose their nerve midway through a tournament. They may retrospect but will only move forward from here. The LoL odds back RED to beat LOUD in the upcoming match the same way they did three weeks ago, and will forge ahead keeping the trophy firmly in their sights.

RED top the kill charts with 15.9 kills per game. Their death rate is high too, at 12.4 per game, showing they firmly believe in offense as the best form of defence. They have destroyed 8.4 and lost 4.5 towers per game. RED have maintained a hefty creep score of 32.4 and dealt damage per minute at the rate of 2241, and across both those metrics they are up among the top three teams.

LOUD

LOUD are relative newcomers to the CBLOL, playing only their third edition since their entry in 2021. They’ve turned in decent performances but have always been on the fringes, able to beat the lower ranked teams but not really up there with the big guns yet. They have qualified for the split playoffs twice in the past, but never managed to end anywhere higher than fifth place.

LOUD have a long way to go if they want to achieve the same kind of dominance that teams like RED have built up over years, but they’ve certainly begun on the right note. LOUD have won 8 and lost 6 of their games so far, the win percentage hovering at 57. They’ve turned in solid performances, but haven’t managed to gain much momentum.

Week four was memorable, with them able to put consecutive past Rensga and Miners, but over the next fortnight they would lose three in a row. LOUD were flattened by Furia, then slumped to defeats against Flamengo and Pain Gaming. After week seven, however, some of their confidence would’ve been restored after back to back wins against Liberty, and INTZ.

Of course, these teams are a walk in the park compared to what they’ll have to face against RED. The winning momentum won’t achieve much more than to prop up their ego, and LOUD will be well aware that they’ll have to play out of their skins to get past a team like RED. According to the LoL predictions this isn’t really likely, unless they can call on a miracle.

Red Canids vs Loud Predictions

LOUD has a kill rate of 16.1 per game, the highest among teams, as well as a heavy death rate of 12.6. Their tower destruction rate is 7.6, while they’ve lost towers at a rate of 4.3 per game and maintained a creep score of 31.4. The stat that jumps out is their high DPM, topping the charts at 2275.
