Relax Gaming explodes onto partner platforms with new Wild Chapo Dream Drop video slot

Following its milestone deal with UK-based sports betting operator Bet365, leading B2B supplier Relax Gaming has launched Wild Chapo Dream Drop, the “upgraded” version of the original Mexican-themed slot that dropped in April 2021.

Players will find the main differences between the two iterations is a considerable drop in the RTP, going from 96.36 percent to 94 percent, and the addition of the Dream Drop, a five-tiered progressive jackpot that has the potential of reaching a maximum of €10,000,000. Other than that, Wild Chapo is still a loose cannon, and the volatility remains high while the video slot is played on a 5-reel, 3-row game board with the same 15 fixed paylines.

Regular wins are scored by landing three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel, with low paying symbols consisting of colorfully designed card suite diamond, club, heart and spade, which pay from 0.40 to 4.00 for hitting five-of-a-kind. In ascending value, high pays are a chihuahua, owl, donkey and our explosive toting Chapo, paying from 1.00 to 25.00 for landing three, four or five-of-a-kind the same way.

The game’s “W” wild symbol can substitute for all regular paying symbols to form winning combinations, or they are worth 40x the stake for landing five of them.

Game Features:

In addition to the main jackpot, players will also come across Chapo’s stash of fire-explosives, including Expanding TNT Wilds, Sticky Wild Re-Spins and Bonus Bomb symbols, each of which adds substantial win potential to the base game.

In the base game, landing a TNT crate cause it to expand upwards to create even more wilds. Players can also trigger the Re-Spin feature by landing two bonus symbols in the base game. Once activated, the triggering bonus symbols convert to Sticky Wilds, while landing more wild symbols awards an additional re-spin. When re-spins are exhausted, any win is paid, and the sticky wilds removed.

Landing three, four or five bonus symbols triggers Free Spins, awarding 7, 9 or 11, respectively. Landing at least three bonus symbols in free spins, awards an additional 3 spins. While in the feature and bonus symbols land, a bonus symbol icon is stored in the position it appeared.

Then, on the final spin, the stored bonus symbols are converted into wild symbols, with a multiplier attached that corresponds to the number stored at the particular position. So, if the scenario is multiple wilds with a multiplier on the same line, the values are multiplied against each other.

Dream Drop Jackpots:

In the base game, single Jackpot Spins trigger randomly, and when activated, five special reels appear, with either wooden blockers or DD (Dream Drop) symbols landing on the reels. If you land a DD symbol on all five reels, the game awards one spin on the jackpot wheel, where one of five jackpots can be won – rapid, midi, maxi, major, or mega, with starting values of €1, €5, €100, €25,000, or €500,000.
