Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake will likely be an early Game of the Year contender, going from what we have seen so far, and anticipation continues to build as its 24th March release date draws ever closer. If you need something to tide you over in the meantime, we were treated to 12 minutes of new gameplay, courtesy of Game Informer.
We see Leon engaging in combat, shepherding Ashley to safety, and partaking in some light side-questing along the way. It’s a pretty great showcase for the modern Resident Evil gameplay loop, showing a bunch of enemies (including a dog that Capcom has stated is not the good boy no longer present in the remake), and a plethora of weapons in action.
