Riot Games Coming to XBOX Game Pass

Riot Games has announced that all the games that they have published are going to be available for Xbox Game Pass users. These users will use benefits such as being able to use every champion in League of Legends or every agent in VALORANT. Back on November 4, Riot Games was available on Epic Games Store with all its games and now it is back for another partnership.

All Games on One Platform

Riot Games has published many games throughout the years. At first, the company only had League of Legends as their only game but then grew into more branches by publishing games of different genres. One of the most important points of this move was to conquer the gaming world in every genre possible. League of Legends is one of the most played games since its release and now the company is aiming more and more to add all these other features.

Xbox Game Pass has published a tweet recently, mainly concentrating on the upcoming Riot Games games on the platform. All the games are already free to play but with Game Pass, more people will be able to play the games using only one platform. In order to attract more attention to the move, there will be some benefits for the Xbox Game Pass users in Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends, VALORANT, and Runeterra.

Use Every LoL Champion

League of Legends and Wild Rift players will be able to use every champion they wish rather than spending time collecting Blue Essences. There are over 160 champions in League of Legends and players will be able to use whichever they want, including the recently released champion, Bel’Veth. Moreover, the players will get day-one access to each new champion as it’s released. Wild Rift players will also benefit from the same offers but there are half of the champions available for mobile players compared to PC users. Still, Wild Rift players will benefit from what the game offers at its fullest.

Teamfight Tactics players will be granted some Little Legends but it is still unclear which LL will be granted. Legends of Runeterra, the card lovers, are going to obtain the Foundations Set for free.
Lastly, VALORANT players who are using Xbox Game Pass will have all the agents unlocked, including Fade, the latest agent. Players will not be bothered by agent contracts as they will have all of them for free. However, they still need to activate contracts for free skins and such.

This is expected to boost LoL betting audiences as it will eventually bring more players to the game. In other words, more people will be attracted to League of Legends.

Microsoft has already offered privileges to Riot Games’ players by announcing free RP with Microsoft Rewards. So especially the League of Legends players are not strangers to the Microsoft ecosystem. The new partnership between Riot Games and Xbox Game Pass is set to be released this Winter for both PC and mobile. However, an exact date has not been specified yet.
