Ubisoft’s free-to-play sort-of-roller-derby sports game Roller Champions received a new update today, marking the start of a new season.
Dragon’s Way, as the theme of this season is called, is inspired by “martial arts and age-old traditions from Asia”. Three new arenas are added in the form of Bangkok Arena, Zen Temple, and Dragon Temple. In the first two weeks beginning today, you’ll get to experience these three arenas and these three arenas only, the rest of the arenas will reappear after this two-week period.
New with this update is cross-play invites. Now you can invite a player from any platform to a game. Plus, technical improvements in matchmaking as well as game stability have been made.
Each week of the Dragon’s Way season will see a new mode or skatepark minigame which you can try out and make progress in the Roller Pass- this game’s battle pass.
Roller Champions is out now on PS4, PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), Xbox One and Switch.
