Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev was once again the standout player for Natus Vincere as the Ukraine-based team went on to lift the BLAST Premier Spring Final trophy in convincing fashion, and was rewarded for his efforts with the title of the HLTV x BitSkins MVP.

This makes s1mple the first player to be awarded 20 MVP medals, and sees him eclipse Nicolai “device” Reedtz who has one less at 19. The rest of the top five features his grand final opponent Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut as well as inactive duo Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub.

At BLAST Premier Spring Finals, s1mple once again dominated across multiple key statistical categories including Rating 2.0 (1.37), K-D difference (+88), kills per round (0.88), KAST (78.3%), and Impact Rating (1.42). s1mple was also in the tournament top five for stats such as deaths per round, AWP kills per round, and interestingly enough, headshots per round.
