First move into live market
Focused on becoming a top-rated cross-platform global gaming company, Scientific Games is steadily on the path to success. The company has announced the acquisition of Authentic Gaming, a leading provider of live casino solutions. Scientific Games makes its first move into the live casino market with the acquisition, adding significantly to its overall product portfolio.

Neither party provided financial details of the deal. Scientific Games called the acquisition a milestone for the company and said it would strengthen its in-house development and leverage content IP.
New content for Scientific Games
The Las Vegas-based gaming supplier will now have access to live casino gaming content, allowing the company to delve into a new gaming market sector. Authentic Gaming specializes in live roulette and has integrated its content within several operators across Europe, including LeoVegas and Entain.
With the new content, Scientific Games can expand into the live casino sector both in the United States and internationally. Scientific Games iGaming CEO Dylan Slaney commented on the acquisition, welcoming the developer and talking about how excited he is to work with the team of Authentic Gaming.
“As a result of welcoming Authentic to Scientific Games,” he said, “we will be uniquely positioned to continue to excite and entertain players to capture both the growth opportunities that exist within live casino and the convergence of players globally across digital and land-based channels by providing leading immersive experiences.”
The supplier has big plans for the products of Authentic Gaming. The company will extend the offering across the United States, creating new studios to stream live dealer game content. With studios in place, Scientific Games can offer a localized solution for operators.
Vermont Lottery deal
Along with acquiring Authentic Gaming, Scientific Games has been busy securing lottery gaming deals. In early October, the company announced it won the bidding process for the gaming systems technology contract of the Vermont Lottery.
The ten-year contract will see the supplier provide advanced platforms, retail products, and game services in Vermont. Revenues generated from services go towards the state Education Fund.
Lottery officials chose the experienced supplier via a grading system. A major factor in the decision was the company’s proven track record of maximizing profits for lottery beneficiary programs. As part of the deal, Scientific Games will supply its PlayCentral self-service machines and WAVE retailer terminals.
