She-Hulk Attorney At Law – Who Is Abomination?

Abomination is one of the biggest rivals of Bruce Banner, and now, with his introduction in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we are possibly going to see him exchanging hands with Jennifer Walters. We have seen Emil Blonsky’s giant Hulk-sized humanoid form in The Incredible Hulk movie and witnessed his exemplary powers that even Banner couldn’t handle. So, it’s obvious that Jennifer Walters is going to have a hard time facing Abomination, even though she’s already getting closer to surpassing Hulk in terms of power.

In the series, we first see Emil Blonsky when Jennifer’s boss, Holden Holliway, offers her a job and asks her to handle Emil’s case. She goes to meet him in his high-security cell, and to everyone’s surprise, Emil seems like a completely transformed guy, talking about peace and spirituality. But, as expected from a villain like him, it was all a facade. Soon, he turns into Abomination and breaks out of his cell. Now, for those who don’t know about this evil Marvel monster, here’s who is Emil Blonsky, a.k.a Abomination.

Emil, who later became Abomination, worked with the British Armed Forces. He had an exceptional record with the military, making him the finest of all the soldiers. Due to his outstanding track, Emil was offered a promotion to the Colonel rank. But, he refused the hype and decided to serve on the field for as long as possible.

General Thaddeus Ross of the US army injected Emil with a dose of Super Soldier Serum, after which he went to fight Hulk and lost. Fierce after his defeat, he then had a fusion of Hulk’s gamma-irradiated blood, which turned him into a monster we now know as Abomination. He went to battle with Hulk again with his newly gained powers, but the latter somehow managed to overpower him. After his defeat, the US army took him into custody and locked him in the cyro-cell facility. Stan Lee himself suggested that Abomination is stronger than Hulk’s base form. The latter could only defeat the former after increasing his power level owing to his rage.

Abomination’s Powers And Abilities

After the gamma transfusion, Abomination gained immense strength and surpassed several Hulk forms. But, unlike Hulk, Abomination is unable to upgrade his power levels, which ultimately makes him weaker than Hulk.

As he went through the same type of mutation as Hulk, Abomination shares a similar type of superhuman stamina and durability as him. Even after spending days doing immense physical activities, his body releases minimal fatigue toxins. The outer strength doesn’t matter if the body isn’t able to withstand the opponent’s attacks. Well, Abomination is able to endure almost all types of artillery and energy blasts. He is highly resistant to extremely high and low temperatures as well.

Even if his opponent manages to injure Abomination, his superhuman healing abilities can rejuvenate him in no time. But, Hulk is known to have a superior healing factor in Abomination’s comparison. He is also resistant to human infections and viruses. Abomination’s ability to breathe underwater and his experience in most types of military arsenal adds further to his abilities.
